Birmingham Botanical Gardens & Glasshouses

Symphony Hall

Birmingham Canalside

Victoria Square
o Pedestrianised public square in Birmingham, England.
o It is home to both the Town Hall and the Council House, and directly adjacent to Chamberlain Square.
o The square is often considered to be the centre of Birmingham, and is the point from where local road sign distances are measured.
o It is a short walk from St. Philip's Cathedral on Colmore Row and is on the main pedestrian route between the Bull Ring and Brindleyplace areas.

Transport in Birmingham
Buses
Network West Midland service
Coach
LandFlight are the premier coach hire and chauffeur drive company established in the Heart of England since 1974. Ideally located for all passenger transport movements throughout the UK and Europe.
Metro
Birmingham Snow Hill serves local rail services to Solihull and Worcester and metro trams towards Wolverhampton. The current tram line runs to Bull Street in the City Centre with a further extension to Corporation Street and New Street station.
Trains
Birmingham New Street is the largest and busiest of the three main railway stations in Birmingham City Centre.
Birmingham Snow Hill serves local rail services to Solihull and Worcester and metro trams towards Wolverhampton. The current tram line runs to Bull Street in the City Centre with a further extension to Corporation Street and New Street station.
Birmingham Moor Street Station is just six minutes walk from New Street Station. Moor Street Station serves local lines to Stratford upon Avon and Kidderminster but also has direct services to London Marylebone via the Chilterns route.
Travelling from London? London Northwestern Railway (LNR) provides intercity and commuter train services on the Euston, Northampton, Birmingham and Liverpool corridors.
Cycling
Brompton folding bikes are currently available to hire from docks near Birmingham New Street, Moor Street, Snow Hill, Brindleyplace, Birmingham Airport and Aston University.
Motorways
· The A38(M) which links Spaghetti Junction to the city centre.
· The M5, connecting Birmingham to the south-west of England.
· The M42, which connects Birmingham to Tamworth and the East Midlands.
· The M6 Toll, which enables through traffic on the M6 to bypass Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
